Soffia waterfall

Cascata della Soffia is a small but striking waterfall in the municipality of Sospirolo, in the province of Belluno, inside the Belluno Dolomites National Park. The Soffia stream drops around 12 meters into a narrow gorge, with an overhanging rock ledge extending roughly 16 meters above the water — letting visitors walk almost directly beneath the cascade without getting soaked.

How do you get there?

The starting point is the Gena Bassa area in the Mis Valley (Valle del Mis), right by the "alla Soffia" bar and the small San Remedio church. From there, a short, well-marked and secured footpath leads to the waterfall — the walk takes only 5 to 10 minutes, covering roughly a hundred meters.
