Where does the castle come from?

The site's story begins in the Middle Ages, when a stone tower house belonging to the Butrón lineage stood here. Once that conflict ended in the early 16th century, the castle lost its military purpose and gradually fell into ruin.

He worked with guidance from Eugène Viollet-le-Duc, the French architect-restorer credited with popularizing the neo-Gothic style in the restoration of medieval buildings.
