Veliki Bak

Veliki Bak rises above the village of Vrana in Zadar County, in the Dalmatian hinterland of Croatia. The hill reaches roughly 220 metres above sea level and is the highest point of the Pakoštane municipality, standing directly over the southeastern edge of the village and the shore of the nearby Vrana Lake. Together with the neighbouring peak of Petrina, it forms part of a ridge running northwest to southeast, an offshoot of the Dinaric mountain chains that descend toward the Adriatic coast.
