Pou de gel d'Arfa

Pou de gel d'Arfa is a former ice well standing just outside the hamlet of Arfa, in the municipality of Ribera d'Urgellet, in the Alt Urgell district of Lleida province, Catalonia. Who built the ice well at Arfa?

What does the structure look like?

Inside, the well takes the form of a circular chamber reached through a narrow passage roughly 70 centimetres wide.
