Ayuntamiento de Sobrescobio (the town hall of the Sobrescobio municipality) stands on the main square of Rusecu (Rioseco in Castilian), the administrative seat of a small municipality in east-central Asturias, northern Spain. The building has held that role since 1929, when the seat moved here from the nearby village of Oviñana.

Nature-minded visitors should look for the Deboyo Cave, a protected natural monument, plus glacial landforms — moraines and cirques — and karst features typical of the limestone massifs of Redes.

The Redes Natural Park is a hiking destination in its own right, with over 40 marked trails starting from villages such as Caleao, Tarna and Bezanes. The best-known routes are the 23-kilometre Ruta del Desfiladero de los Arrudos, which follows a river gorge from Ubales Lake to Felguerina, and the 10-kilometre Ruta de la Vega Brañagallones, climbing through forest and meadow to the 1,200-metre highland of Brañagallones.

Spring and early summer bring the greenest landscapes and full access to the high mountain trails; autumn turns the beech forests golden; winter can leave the upper reaches of the park snowbound and harder to reach on foot.
