Torreoia is a white, open-air viewing tower standing in Vista Alegre park in Zarautz, one of the best-known seaside towns on the Basque coast. Perched on a rise between the Santa Barbara and Talaimendi hills, it has offered visitors sweeping views over the bay for more than a century.

Torreoia itself was built in 1913 and is considered the first reinforced-concrete structure ever built in the province of Gipuzkoa — a genuinely new construction technique for the region at the time.

Over the decades the structure fell into disrepair, until a thorough restoration in 2020 brought it back to its original condition and reopened it to the public. Today the surrounding Vista Alegre park is a well-kept green space with paths and benches, a pleasant stop for a walk after a day at the beach.
