Orange Garden

Orange Garden

Rzym, Italy

About this place

Orange Garden is the name used in Rome for Parco Savello, a small park on the Aventine Hill. Covering about 7,800 square meters, it was designed in 1932 by Raffaele De Vico. It is a good place for a short walk and a wide city view.

Na miejscu można liczyć przede wszystkim na:

  • an open lookout over Rome, with the park laid out as a new belvedere on the side of the hill;
  • a compact green space on the Aventine Hill, easy to combine with nearby sightseeing;
  • a design from 1932 by Raffaele De Vico, created to give the public access to this viewpoint alongside the ones on the Pincian Hill and the Janiculum.

For the visit, comfortable shoes are a good idea, especially if you plan to walk around the hill and enjoy the viewpoint at an unhurried pace. It is a solid choice for travelers who want a quiet stop with city views rather than a long excursion.
