About this place
Laguna Třebíč is a sports and leisure complex in the town of Třebíč in the Vysočina region, combining an indoor aquapark, a lap pool, a sauna zone, and the seasonal outdoor Polanka swimming area. It ranks among the most popular water facilities in the region.
What's inside the aquapark
The heart of the complex is an irregularly shaped recreational pool covering nearly 200 m², about 120 cm deep, packed with water attractions: a lazy/wild river current, a rocking water cradle, massage jets and geysers, two whirlpool baths, and an underwater cave with an aquarium. The standout feature is a 132-meter water slide, running partly through a covered outdoor section and partly across the main pool hall, with its 15-meter launch tower offering a view over the town of Třebíč.
Lap pool and wellness zone
Next to the play area is a 25-meter indoor lap pool with eight swimming lanes, plus a children's paddling pool and a body-heating cabin. The complex also has a renovated sauna world made up of three sauna cabins of different sizes and setups, a steam cabin, and a Finnish herbal bath accommodating up to six people at once.
Polanka outdoor swimming area
During the summer season, the adjoining Polanka facility opens, offering a 50-meter pool, a diving tower with platforms at 1, 3 and 5 meters, an 85-meter slide for children, and a separate shallow paddling pool for the youngest visitors.
History of the site
Třebíč's indoor swimming pool was built shortly after the political transformation, but over time it could no longer keep up with growing demand from residents and visitors. Plans for an adjoining aquapark were announced in March 2009, and the facility itself opened on 1 December 2013. This made Laguna the second water park of its kind in the Vysočina region, complementing the existing indoor pool with a play and wellness zone.
Who is Laguna Třebíč for
The complex blends sport and entertainment, drawing both families with children looking for water attractions and swimmers training laps in the indoor pool or unwinding in the sauna zone. The seasonal Polanka area adds a classic open-air swimming experience with a diving tower during summer.
