About this place

Cascata di Begna (waterfall of Begna) in Tavordo is a waterfall in the Lepontine Alps near Porlezza, Province of Como, Lombardy. The water falls into a natural pool suitable for a cooling dip in summer. The trail starts near the church of San Giuseppe, crosses the Strolech Bridge over the Rezza stream, and reaches the waterfall in about 30 minutes. The loop route (roughly 8 km) is considered challenging due to steep and slippery sections — sturdy footwear is strongly recommended.
