About this place
Śląskie Kamienie is one of the twin peaks and rock formations in the Giant Mountains, right on the Czech–Polish border near Špindlerův Mlýn. It stands at 1,413 metres (4,636 ft) and is paired with Czeskie Kamienie, also known as Mužské kameny, which rises to 1,416 metres (4,646 ft). This is a good spot for a mountain outing with views and a short hike in a high-altitude setting.
Na miejscu można liczyć przede wszystkim na:
- a distinctive twin-peak landscape, where Śląskie Kamienie and Czeskie Kamienie stand close together as part of the rocky ridge;
- a border-mountain setting in the Giant Mountains, with the Czech–Polish frontier running through this area;
- a scenic stop for hikers looking for a mountain walk near Špindlerův Mlýn, especially if you want to combine rock scenery with open alpine views.
For a visit, it is worth bringing proper hiking shoes and checking the weather, since conditions in the Giant Mountains can change quickly. This is a good choice for travelers who enjoy mountain scenery, ridge walks, and a quieter stop in a highland landscape.
