About this place
Czeskie Kamienie is a twin peak and rock formation in the Giant Mountains, right on the Czech–Polish border. The two summits are known as Czeskie Kamienie, also called Mužské kameny, at 1,416 metres (4,646 ft), and Śląskie Kamienie, also called Dívčí kameny, at 1,413 metres (4,636 ft). It is a good place for a mountain outing with wide borderland scenery.
- The main feature here is the pair of rocky summits, whose close heights and shared setting make them easy to recognize as a twin formation.
- You can take in the high-mountain landscape of the Giant Mountains while standing at a spot that lies directly on the Czech–Polish border.
- The site is especially interesting for visitors who enjoy mountain geology and clear summit viewpoints rather than a built attraction.
Bring sturdy shoes and check the weather before heading out, as this is a mountain destination with exposed terrain. It is a solid choice for hikers and travelers looking for a shorter mountain trip with a distinct border setting.
