Where did the tower come from?

The idea behind Skalka came from a couple, the Holíks, who in 2008 purchased the plot of land on the hill from the village of Vyžlovka. Years of use eventually called for repairs, and after necessary maintenance work the tower reopened to the public on April 1, 2022. It is now managed by the Vyžlovka municipal authority.
