Nearby San Mamed has its own church with a Romanesque espadaña, while Sejas de Aliste is home to a church notable for its tall tower and an altarpiece dedicated to Saint Jerome. Sejas de Aliste also holds traces of a much older past: Castro del Cerco, an Iron Age archaeological site where remains of ancient defensive structures can still be seen.
Nature lovers shouldn't miss Fuente de Fidionda, a natural monument known for its sulphurous waters and one of the municipality's best-known attractions.
