A perimeter wall encloses the property, and inside it opens onto a spacious courtyard around which daily life at the pazo revolves. A chimney of unusually generous proportions rises above the roofline, a feature often seen in rural Galician architecture of this scale.

Today the pazo operates as a rural tourism property: ten guest rooms come with satellite television, a whirlpool bath, a safe, heating and a minibar, with windows opening onto the surrounding fields and woodland. Attached to the house is the Mesón Bendoiro restaurant, serving regional Galician cooking.

When to visit, and what to eat?

On weekdays, from Tuesday to Friday at lunchtime, the restaurant runs a set menu, switching to a dedicated weekend menu on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The house speciality is cocido — the classic Galician stew of meat, sausage and vegetables — alongside roast kid shoulder. Between 15 January and 14 February, during the local "Mes do Cocido" (Cocido Month), the dish is served every weekend; outside that window it needs to be booked in advance. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Thanks to its courtyard and function rooms, the pazo also hosts private celebrations, including weddings and banquets.
