Parque de la Plata is a city park in Jerez de la Frontera, in the Cádiz province of Andalusia, Spain.

Where is the park located?

Parque de la Plata sits in the north-western part of Jerez, bordered by Prolongación Pizarro Street, Serrana Avenue and La Plata Street, which gave the park its name. The main address is Calle La Plata 10 (postal code 11404), in a quiet residential neighbourhood a short distance from Jerez's historic centre and its famous sherry bodegas.

The planting is varied: cork oaks grow near the Isabel La Católica school, while other areas of the park hold holm oaks, wild olive trees (acebuche) and wild medlar and hawthorn. Around the central pond, Aleppo pines — known locally as "carrasco" — dominate, alongside paper mulberry trees and Washingtonia palms scattered through the grounds.

In February 2022, the city council announced a comprehensive renovation worth €397,187, during which the park's dirt paths were resurfaced with asphalt, improving access year-round.
