Parque de la Batería

Where does the park's name come from?

The name refers to an artillery battery that historically guarded the Torremolinos coastline against seaborne attacks. At its centre lies an artificial lake covering over 9,000 square metres, with a statue of the god Neptune rising from the water — one of the park's most photographed spots.
