Nedánov

Nedánov Observation Tower rises above the village of Boleradice in the Břeclav district of South Moravia, built from wood and metal in an unusual hourglass shape. A bit of history

The site has a history that predates the current structure. Between the two world wars, a 20-meter wooden tower stood here, serving both military and tourist purposes, but it was torn down after the Second World War. The present tower was built decades later: its foundation stone was laid on May 21, 2006, and it officially opened on July 12, 2009. Following a renovation that began in autumn 2023, it reopened to visitors.
