Muzeum Čtyřlístek in Doksy is a one-of-a-kind exhibition dedicated to the most beloved Czech comic strip — the adventures of the inventive cat Myšpulín, the loyal dog Pinďa, the sweet kitten Fifinka and the good-natured rabbit Bobík. Housed inside the town's castle in the Liberec region, it draws families and lifelong comic fans alike.

Why is the museum in Doksy?

The location is no coincidence. Jaroslav Němeček, the artist and writer behind the comic, owns a cottage near the Máchovo Lake area and drew constant inspiration from the surrounding landscape while creating new adventures for his characters. The fictional town of Třeskoprsky, home to the four friends in the comic, is in fact modeled directly on Doksy — walking through the real streets, visitors can spot corners that feel instantly familiar from the panels.

The museum first opened its doors on 11 December 2011, at the time the only exhibition of its kind in the country. As interest grew, it moved into larger, more representative rooms inside Doksy's castle, reopening ceremonially on 22 December 2019. In February 2026 the museum underwent a further, even bigger expansion.

What will you see inside?

Following the latest expansion, the exhibition now spans four new themed rooms, each built around a different character or storyline from the comic. Visitors pass through Fifinka's Kingdom, walk through an eerie forest straight out of the strip's classic adventures, explore inventor Myšpulín's laboratory crammed with quirky contraptions, and finish in a recreation of Jaroslav Němeček's own studio, complete with original sketches and drawing tools.

An enlarged collectors' room displays memorabilia tracing the comic's long history, and a spacious gift shop near the exit sells everything from comic books to toys and clothing featuring the four characters. The whole exhibition is designed to be hands-on and playful, appealing equally to young children and to adults who grew up reading the strip.
