Łysica

Łysica is the highest mountain in Poland’s Świętokrzyskie Mountains, rising to 614 metres (2,014 ft). It stands in the Świętokrzyski National Park, near Święta Katarzyna, and has a strong link to the area’s long history. Below the summit there is an abbey, set on a site that may once have been a pagan temple before the Christianization of Poland, which adds an extra layer of interest to a visit.
