Filipka

Filipka is a modest but popular peak of the Silesian Beskids (Slezské Beskydy), rising above the village of Návsí in the Frýdek-Místek district of the Moravian-Silesian Region in the Czech Republic. At 771 metres above sea level, it isn't a particularly tall summit, but its position at the meeting point of three municipalities and its easy accessibility make it one of the go-to hiking destinations in this part of Cieszyn Silesia.

Where exactly is Filipka?

The peak sits on a ridge that curves around the valley of the Hluchová stream, connecting it to the neighbouring summits of Loučka (835 m) and Czupel (757 m). This spot is marked by a historic boundary stone, known locally as the "trojmezí" (tripoint), placed exactly where the old administrative borders once met.
