Domain Breivelde is a landscaped park of nearly 14 hectares in Grotenberge, a district of the town of Zottegem in East Flanders, Belgium. Where does the estate come from?

The story of the grounds goes back to the 19th century, when landowner August De Rouck laid out a large garden here in the romantic style. In 1871 he built a mansion, which was later replaced by a new residence. The current Breivelde castle was erected in 1904 at the initiative of Philippe Plancqaert van Exen van Beauvechain and remains a good example of Renaissance Revival architecture. In 1970 the estate was purchased by the city of Zottegem, and in 1982 it received official protected heritage status.
