Where did this estate come from?

The story begins in the 15th century, when a hunting lodge belonging to the Dukes of Rohan stood on the site. During the Second World War the building took on an unusual role, serving as a spy training school. Today the château belongs to the de la Grandière family. Of the earliest construction, a 16th-century tower still stands, while the rest of the building seen today dates from the 18th and 19th centuries and was built in the Breton Neo-Gothic style.
