Centro Cultural Antonio Gala is the main cultural venue of La Rinconada, a town in the province of Seville, opened on 10 February 1995 as a municipal theatre and now serving as a hub for the town's performing arts groups. Where does the name come from?

The building honours Antonio Gala, one of the most celebrated Spanish playwrights, novelists and columnists of the late twentieth century, closely linked to the cultural life of Córdoba, where he spent most of his life. The dedication is a tribute to his literary legacy rather than a reference to his birthplace - Gala was actually born in Brazatortas, in Castilla-La Mancha.

Works improved accessibility for people with disabilities, repaired the roof and façades, and reshaped the stage into a more modern, functional space. The refurbishment was planned as part of the town's wider "great cultural ring", linking different artistic venues across La Rinconada. More recently, the centre also received new lighting and sound equipment, partly financed through the Seville provincial council's Plan Supera programme.
