Turbacz

Turbacz is the highest peak in the Gorce Mountains, a range in southern Lesser Poland, and it rises in the middle of the massif near Obidowa. Most sources give its height as 1310 meters, and the summit is part of the Crown of Polish Mountains. Today it is a forested mountain top with a stone obelisk and an iron cross, making it a good place for a short mountain outing.

For a visit, it is worth bringing proper hiking shoes and checking the weather, since the summit is in the mountains and the forested top does not offer open panoramas today. This is a good choice for hikers who want a straightforward mountain trip and a stop at one of the best-known peaks in the Gorce Mountains.
