Where does the name come from?

The mansion was built in 1755 by Ferdinand Julius Troyer of Troyerstein, bishop of Olomouc, on land that then belonged to the Vyškov estate — hence the name it carries to this day. It was designed as a hunting lodge, a base from which the bishop and his guests would set out into the surrounding Drahan Highlands forests.
