Strombolicchio

Strombolicchio is a volcanic sea stack in the Aeolian Islands of Italy, located about 2 km (1.2 mi) northeast of Stromboli. In Sicilian, its name is Struognulicchiu, meaning “Little Stromboli,” and it is the hard basalt remnant of the original volcano that formed the island of Stromboli about 200,000 years ago. It is a place best appreciated from the water or on a short sightseeing stop.
