Orunia Park

Gdańsk, Poland

About this place

Orunia Park is a historic municipal park in Gdańsk, set along the Orunia Stream on the border between the districts of Orunia-Św. Wojciech-Lipce and Orunia Górna-Gdańsk Południe. Known as Emilia Hoene Orunia Park, it is the third-largest municipal park in the city and the largest of Gdańsk’s historic parks. It is a good place for a relaxed walk in a green, urban setting.

Na miejscu można liczyć przede wszystkim na:

  • a stroll along the Orunia Stream, which gives the park its natural backbone and adds a calm, water-side feel to the visit
  • a chance to explore one of Gdańsk’s historic parks, with the scale that makes it stand out among the city’s municipal green spaces
  • a walk through a park that sits right on the boundary of two districts, making it easy to combine with a broader outing in southern Gdańsk

For the most comfortable visit, wear sensible shoes and choose a dry day if you want to walk the paths at an easy pace. This is a good choice for anyone looking for a short, low-key outing with some greenery in the city.
