Parc de l'Auxois is a 40-hectare zoo and leisure park in Arnay-sous-Vitteaux, in the Côte-d'Or department of Burgundy, roughly 30 minutes from Dijon.

What animals live at Parc de l'Auxois?

The park combines a zoological garden with a family amusement park, housing around 500 animals from nearly 90 species from around the world. Big cats are a highlight, with lions, tigers and cheetahs on show alongside bears, Arctic wolves, dingoes, ocelots and jaguarundis. The bird collection includes large eclectus parrots and Illiger's macaws. A key feature of the park is its immersive walkthrough trails, where visitors step directly into the animals' territory — this applies to the lemur enclosures, home to five different lemur species, as well as to the rainbow lorikeet aviary.

During July and August the park also opens a water area with pools and slides, making it a popular midsummer day out.
