About this place
Mięguszowiecki Szczyt Czarny is a mountain on the main ridge of the Tatra Mountains, in the High Tatras, right on the border between Poland and Slovakia. It is the easternmost of the three Mięguszowiecki Summits, and its summit reaches 2404 meters, which makes it the fourth highest mountain in Poland. For visitors, it offers a mountain outing with a distinctly high-Tatra setting.
Na miejscu można liczyć przede wszystkim na:
- a ridge-top position on the main Tatra crest, with the border between Poland and Slovakia running across this part of the mountains
- views and a classic High Tatras alpine landscape, shaped by the peak’s 2404-meter elevation
- the chance to recognize its place among the three Mięguszowiecki Summits, as the easternmost of the group
If you plan a visit, it is worth checking the weather and coming prepared for a proper mountain trip, as this is a high-altitude peak rather than a casual stop. It is a good choice for hikers looking for a more serious outing in the Tatras and for those interested in Poland’s highest mountains.
