About this place
Kopa Kondracka is a mountain in the Western Tatras, rising on the main ridge of the Tatras east of Małołączniak. It stands on the border between Poland and Slovakia and is part of the Czerwone Wierchy massif. At 2005 meters, it is the easternmost and also the lowest of the four summits in that group, making it a good goal for mountain visitors interested in ridge scenery and high-altitude hiking.
Na miejscu można liczyć przede wszystkim na:
- a position on the main Tatra ridge, with a clear borderland setting between Poland and Slovakia
- views and hiking opportunities connected with the Czerwone Wierchy massif, of which Kopa Kondracka is the easternmost summit
- a mountain outing in the Western Tatras, where the 2005-meter elevation gives the route a distinctly alpine character
For a visit here, it is worth bringing proper mountain footwear and checking the weather before setting out, as ridge conditions can change quickly. This is a strong choice for hikers looking for a shorter mountain trip or a more demanding walk in the Tatras, especially if they want to combine open ridge landscapes with a stop in the Zakopane area.
